On my creative journey, I wear many hats. I'm a seasoned writer and multi-international best-selling author with a passion for women's health coaching on a global scale. But that's not where my creativity ends – it's just the beginning. You could call me a ' creative enthusiast ' because I'm always knee-deep in various artistic and inventive projects. From refurbishing and breathing new life into neglected properties, to crafting stunning interior designs, penning books (including drawing illustrations for my children's books), writing poetry, hosting engaging interviews for my podcasts, and even developing over 23 online educational courses that help empower and transform lives. Lately, I've ventured into the world of comedy scriptwriting and writing a play for the stage, adding yet another layer to my creative tapestry. And, of course, I find solace, peace and joy in painting and drawing. I can trace my artistic roots back to my earliest school days, where I painted a mesmerising secret garden scene. It bloomed with an explosion of vibrant, colourful flowers. That moment was when I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be, doing precisely what I was meant to do. My dedication earned me an A grade in my higher education in the Arts. However, societal pressures and expectations led me down a different, non-artistic corporate path, ultimately taking a tragic toll on my health. It wasn't until I faced near-total organ failure and grappled with eight major medical conditions that I reevaluated my life's direction and my deeply held beliefs. As I embarked on the road to recovery, and with each medical condition pushed into remission, my love for creativity and art rekindled with newfound clarity. What began as modest pencil sketches soon transformed into grand oil-painted canvases adorned with thick, vibrant layers of paint. Today, the large, resplendent flowers I paint are a reflection of life's vibrancy, joy, and boundless possibilities. Nature, after all, doesn't produce just one pink flower – it produces millions. I draw inspiration from the Scottish hillsides during my walks, capturing the essence of this diversity in my artwork. Additionally, I've developed a deep affection for creating charcoal drawings of animals. This passion took root after the passing of my beloved Labrador, Ginty, who stood faithfully by my side, radiating love and joy even during my darkest hours. She was a daily reminder of love and light. Over time, my drawings expanded to encompass a wide range of animals and diverse interests, making my creative journey a diverse and ever-evolving exploration of artistic expression.
